Found a Model 50, have questions

A buddy of mine has an old Model 50 tucked away in a barn, doesn't look like it's moved for decades. It's in surprisingly good shape, and I'm thinking of buying it from him to restore. Where do I look on the tractor to see when it was manufactured? What other info should I look for as far as options etc.? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Buy the 50, have fun restoring it and look at the proud work you did.

I bought a 50 in 1996, restored it in my garage and it looks just as good as new. I keep it covered in a heated garage.
