the paper probably didn't like the response, not the language. But in general the use of foul language has increased with the decline in civility and respect for others.

I was thinking the same thing, and the removal is also an indication of decline in respect for others who have differing views.

In one site I infest they won't even allow "Dick" as short for Richard. Guess it scans for the word, not the meaning.

Same thing happened to me. I was trying to tell someone something about a fuel shutoff (commonly known as a "petcock").

You should've seen what the auto-censor turned THAT into!!! :laughing:

I find it stupid and hypocritical that on THIS site you can include ANY word as long as you replace one letter with an asterisk--that makes it OK?? None of these words bother me, by the way..... Regards, Mike
