2008 4x4 makes squeaking noise threw out all motion when turning.

dealer told me its normal

no belts just a hydrologic pump

What kind of "dealer"? Are you talking about a used tractor you just bought from this "dealer"? Or one you've had new since 2008? Has it made this noise since new? or just started making the noise recently?

That does not sound normal to me ? Which engine do you have ? Some have a seperate hydraulic pump for steering,the steering part of the hydraulics is pretty simple so it should not take much to help figure out where the problem is at.

What oil are you running in the steering 20w50 is best

Whoa! 20w50 is not the oil of choice for a Jinma steering system. The manual, and the Jinma dealers I know, recommend using AW-32 hydraulic oil and nothing else. Deviate from that at your own risk.

Is the squeaking noise coming form the pump, the steering motor, the priority valve (if so equipped) or is it a mechanical squeak from something rubbing? A hydraulic pump that is stalling (pumping against excess back pressure) will make a noise that I'd call "whining", while a relief valve that is opening makes a noise that is what I'd call a "groaning" sound. High p[itched squeaking noises are usually from friction - rubbing, dragging, scraping, etc.

noise is coming from the steering valve.

makes same noise as power steering on a car when you turn it all the way right or left.

but with my tractor it makes that noise all the time when turning.

I can't remember if it made that noise when new... only got 200hours on it.

Evidently its not the pump which is up front. So you have a problem with the amount or working pressure of oil in the steering system. So is it sluggish or hard to turn? Or does it take spells of being slow or hard to turn?
If either is the case you have a supply issue.
Tell us how easy is it to turn?

try the 20w 50 oil, pump out as much of the oil you are using and try it a few days

On some tractors with separate steering pumps, yes. It proved an excellent four season steering fluid on my 2-pump KM454. But my 2-pump TS354C worked best with AW32.

That said, 20W50's no good when a single pump runs all the hydraulics on the whole tractor. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with the FT254 to know if it has a separate steering pump.

I don't think your problem is related to hydraulics. My guess is that it's a metal on metal noise between the steering wheel and/or the steering shaft and/or the steering column. A teflon disc and/or some grease might fix you right up. But you'll have to pull the steering wheel to find out.

The valve is on the steering rod , looks like a 4way valve if i remember right and the pump is by the motor.

il try thicker oil, would i need more than 5 gallons.

When a tractors new do they place breakin oil for the hydraulics aswell?

I'm in canada will that oil be to thick for winter?

On my 254 I use an all season hydraulic oil because of the extreme temperature change in Saskatchewan. Lookin at mine, it looks like the steering is tied into your main hydraulics with the steering ram down by the right tire. Pump is on side of engine which ties back to your resovoir under the seat. I imagine your fluid level is up. Dipstick is behind the seat to check your level.
