Forks Forks that clamp on the bottom lip of a FEL

If you have a welder, here is a simple set I made for less than $20 worth of new steel and about 2 hours work. Angle iron spreads the weight across the entire bottom of the bucket lip to reduce the chance of bending. See next picture to show it attached.

My bucket already had 2 holes in the bottom so I set the bolts to match those. Goes on and off in about a minute.

Jinman, I was planning on buying a set like that (uses turnbuckles & chain to clamp all the way around the bucket) from an outfit in western Minnesota. And wouldn't you know it, my hard drive died and with it the link & name. Do you know what brand you have?

And more importantly, they work well? Looking at all the different designs here, other than dedicated forks, they seem to be the best for strength, staying put, & adjustable vs cost. All the other designs (now, those in this thread that clamp to the _back_ of the bucket look good too if you have a strong bucket floor) look like they would slop around, bend the bucket, or are bolted into one position. Glad to hear from someone who has them!

OkieG..looks like you could reduce the chance of bending the bucket lip by extending the top brackets. My forks' top bracket extends to almost the rear of the bucket and I've never bent the lip yet. Pivoting is a pain sometimes and I sure like how yours clamp to the rear of the bucket. Attached is a pic of mine.
