Hi,

I am wondering what options I have for forks on my BX 25, What do you guys like? Dislike?

Thanks

No Just the standard bucket.
Clamp on bucket forks would be pretty much the only option then, unless you have fabricating skills or want to hire someone who does. I would strongly encourage you not to do the clamp on forks. The capacity is going to be very low with that machine and you'll have a very good chance of bending your bucket edge. If you have fabricating skills and equipment, a nice set of forks for that is fairly simple to make. You could convert it to SSQA, but with a machine that small, I would probably just build a set of pin on forks. You retain more of your lift capacity that way.

I have a clamp on set of forks. They work well enough i can't justify buying a full fork attachment. They're actually pretty strong and have some definite advantages.

Not Fladogman, but I have the Vevor clamp on forks. They were right around $90, and I either had a thread about them, or I included it in the "full figured 25hp tractor" thread. Regardless, to give a review; for $90, I am happy; if I had paid $250-350 (as some places charge for similar), I would probably not be happy. They Do work; but they Do slip and go cross eyed, or pivot pretty easy, the cross bar doesn't really do that much. I have used them on pallets like 3 times, but these where maybe 600# (6500w generator, welder, tools, and basically made a mobile welding pallet), but they are great for carrying a couple dozen T-posts or maybe 8 or 12 wood posts, moving scrap metal, ect. For moving tree debris, it can work, but not ideal.

These are not the Exact model I have, mine have a spreader bar to help keep them pointed straight.

I had a set of “BX Expanded” forks when I owned a BX. They are pretty light and easy off and on.

I have the BX Expanded forks for my BX. I use them more than I thought I wouold. They are easy to remove or put back on. Never tried the clamp on type for comparison.
