Forgot to clean the strainer...

Don't worry so much about a little crud in the screen. If it is there, it isn't doing any harm, and it can't circulate back into your transmission. The screen has done it's job collecting the big stuff. It can't possibly collect enough to clog up and restrict flow, unless your transmission has come apart. The filter does its job with the small stuff. You oil is quite clean. Kubota has designed this machine well. Service as they recommend and it will last a lifetime. Just stop stressing over nothing.

By the way, the shop vac idea is a good one.

Agree, nothing to over stress about. However, removing and cleaning the strainer is indeed part of the service schedule set by Kubota, who designed the machine well.
