(actually I thought I had a lot more drawbar stuff somewhere). :(

One of those blue ones might have served me well Terry!!!!! My drawbar is only 2" wide so they might be a bit large?? :)

Hey, it might not be a tractor photo, but it's a tractor part photo.......

This Summer I've got a lot of black dirt to haul using my clamshell scraper. The dirt is a pile created from dredging a pond. Gonna load it with the Kubota FEL and pull the scraper with the Ford. Scraper uses a pintle loop hitch. Had to build a Hammer Strap for the drawbar.

This is a 5yd scraper. I'll post some pics when doing this. The little Ford will require all it's fortitude to drag the loaded scraper. :D

Just checked.

One is 2"X1". The other 2.25"x1". Both have 5/8" holes 2"OC

Here's another a other method I've used.

Terry

I repurposed everything including the bolts so I'm in cheap. But your idea would certainly be easier to fabricate!!!

My Mom was pretty good about taking pics. Before she died she designated me as the successor for keeping family pics. I try. My Mom took these old photos with one of those Kodak box cameras that you held down by your waist and looked down into the top of it, can't remember their technical name. :)

Here's one of my favorite pics. It's my Great Grandfather with his Model T.

Here's another of me and my Dad with a Flathead catfish that he noodled. Notice both pics have Fords in them so they apply to this thread..... :)

Richard, is your fly open in that pic with the flathead? Back when i was your size I too would forget to zip or button up. My granddaddy once told me that if a policeman caught me "open" like that he'd swoop me up and put me in jail. Never forget it and never forget to button up. Grin.

Tractors are like guns ......!
When you buy one, don't EVER sell it!
Just buy another one if your needs/wants change.

Or just use them to reduce the price of your new ones. I traded a JD 4010, MF 35, and Ford 3000, all diesels in on my 6530. That got me down to 4.......another reason why Branson was my first new purchase (nobody else would take trades, especially 3 and I liked the tractor's amenities), second one was because I liked the first.

Yep. Too busy for such trivial things!!!! :)

Our neighbor lady down the road a mile was my first grade teacher. Ms Polley. I never wore a shirt in summertime. Lots of days never wore shoes. Ms Polley would let me take my shirt off in school on hot days. If she saw me getting sleepy she'd take me to the coat closet and let me lay on the floor and take a 15 minute nap. Why can't schools be like that now. :)

Here's my mom and dad gathering small square hay. Mom is on the 1920 pushing bales into groups of 8 with a homemade accumulator.

My dad is picking up the bales with the 7840 using a homebuilt hay grapple. My dad is a very smart man.

What you don't see is that I am above them cutting another field on a TW-5.

There was a lot of blue out that day.

I'll play! Here is my 3600. She may be pretty but she gets used. Previous owner planted and harvested sorghum with her and pulled a square baler. I brush hog, plow, and anything else that needs a bit more power than my FIL's CUT has to offer with her now.
