Okay, a question.....
I have seen in the past, Ford diesel engines set up with Rockford (or similar) PTO units (units driven off back of engine). They are used to power what ever (usually stationary equipment).
My question, was the Ford 175CID engine (used in the Ford 3000- 3 cylinder) ever set up as a power unit??? I have my old engine out of my Ford powered grape harvester and I'm thinking of rebuilding it and putting a power unit PTO end on it.
From what I have seen, the Rockford PTO's are mounted to SAE bellhousings. So, what "bellhousing" is available for the 175 engine so I can turn it into a power unit??? Or am I barking up a dead end.....
Thanks.
