I have worn turf tires on my 4x4 Ford 1220. They're not of much use when clearing snow. I'd like to replace them with AG tires. The turf tire sizes are 20x8-10 (front) and 29x12-15 (rear). According to tractorinfo.com, 4x4 1220 tractors equipped with AG tires from the factory use 5-12 (front) and 8-16 (rear). Of course, I need to keep the front to rear size ratio correct for 4x4 use. I'd rather not buy new rims. Can anyone suggest AG tire sizes that would fit my current rims and maintain the correct ratio, or am I stuck looking for different rims? Thanks in advance.

You will need new rims to convert from turf tires to ag tires.

Consider snow chains as an option, rather than changing wheels and tires.

Those rims are expensive.... like, crazy expensive even in the used market. I was looking at getting newer rims and ran the question to my repair person. The numbers were $700+ each side for just the rears. 1220s where great tractors, and everyone agrees with that, but fixinging them and finding parts is expensive and problematic.
