Loader Ford Diesel, Industrial Tractor - Just bought, looking to verify Year, Model#, etc..

I just bought a Ford Diesel Industrial Tractor & would like to obtain the Manual and possibly a Service Manual as well. Firstly, would you please help me identify the Tractor? I was told it is a 1976 Ford Diesel Industrial Tractor w/a Front-end Loader. Just 340 (without an A or B) is Located on each side farm of the Loader. In seat, on the Right-side of block: D5NN6015-F (below it) 9G26 Right side of Transmission: D5-NN-7006 (below it)
HH (below it) 9E31 Rear-End: D7NN4024-A Left-side of Bell Housing: H1OB (below it) J7OG11 - My sincere thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you. - Kerry Morgan

I know the tractor says 340 on the arm to the front-end loader, but I don't know if it
was added? I can't find the year, was "hoping" by posting the Markings & Vin# that someone
could assist me determine the year so I can purchase the Manual. Thanks again...

Flip open the hatch in the hood, there should be a tag there with 3 lines of codes that will tell what it is. If that is missing, look on the flat boss above the starter, the same 3 lines should be there.

Look on the boss as aczlan said, that should tell you what you need to know. Also I don't think it can be a 1976, should be between 1979 and 1981.

From what I've been able to find, the CU3 means 340
The 9K238 means it was manufactured November of 1979

Don't hold me to this, it's just what I've read on the internet.

CU3 = Model 340, Industrial, 1979-1981, 175 cubic inch
1 = Diesel engine
4 = Independent PTO 540 rpm
K = 6x4 Manual Reversing transmission
