ford bush hog

My husband is at the farm mowing, and our bush hog just skims over the top of heavy grass, mows short and thin grass fine. Any ideas what the problem could be. Thanks for any and all help.

hogs usually cut heavy stff BETTER than short and thin stuff.

post a pic of your setup.. don't have the top adjusted higher than the rear do ya?

slow blade speeds???

some more details would surely help here
