Backhoe Ford Backhoe VIN Decoding

Hello Everybody I just got a Ford Backhoe. I think it is a 555 but I am not sure how to break down the VIN. I would like to find factory repair and parts manuals but I want to make sure I know as much about my backhoe as possible before I proceed. I attached the built tag photo. This is all I know so far:

3.3L Diesel

555 1978-84
555A 1984-85
555B 1985-88
555C 1989-92
555D 1993-95
555E 1996-99
I am not sure which one it is.

model DF311F should be - 555 1978-84

DF3 - 555 industrial flat deck
1 - Diesel engine
1 - no PTO
F - 4x4 torque converter auto reversing trans

Unit number doesn't look right, missing a number or letter, the other date codes you listed are for the fall months of the year

Serial number is in the 1979 range

November 1, 1979 build date. The most important bit of information you will ever have after the model #.
