Ford backhoe lift cylinder

My 71 ford backhoe's boom lift cylinder leaks between the packing and gland nut. I couldn't get the gland nut off, so I took off the cylinder and brought it to a New Holland dealer. They opened it and said it's not repairable. Anyone know where I can get salvage parts for it near Carmel, N.Y.

take it to a REAL hyds shop.... I have taken vintage ford cyls fromthe 50's to my local mom n pop shop and had them rebuild them with standard v packing of fthe shelp while i waited.
