I broke a output shaft on a wing gear box, dealer wants $575 for a new one, anyone know where to get one for less? It's a heavy duty unit made by BMB in the mid 80s. Thanks

The mfgrs, of multi gearbox cutters periodically change gearbox gear ratios from time to time and without going thru a dealer, you would be taking a chance on getting the right part. If you go looking for a used or after market shaft , get the shaft diameter, # of splines and # of teeth on the gear. Ken Sweet
