ford 8210 lift problem

I'm looking at buying a 8210, but the lift doesn't work. it doesn't go up or down. the pto and everything works on it. it is a mid 80s maybe early 90s ford 8210 4wd with a cab. the man said it had all been rebuilt with new hydro pump. does anyone know what the problem maybe be before i jump into this purchase? thanks!

Does it have electrolink or just or just regular lever .

Hey, im guessing link arms raised slightly when you say lift will neither raise or lower!?! If so may be as simple as ASC valve being pulled out thus diverting oil to aux services rendering lift "dead". Pushing in valve should reactivate lift function.
