Canopy Ford 6610 cab

I have a 1984 6610 with a bubble cab. I would like to fit a new radio but I am having difficulties in removing the cover which incorperates the windscreen wiper, fan and temperature switches/knobs. The wiper and temp switches pull off easily but I cannot budge the fan switch, which is chrome rather than plastic. Does anyone know how I can get it off so I can remove the cover ?

You don't move that panel to change a radio in a bubble cab you lift the roof . Screw at the front , bolt on either side and remove rear worklight arms . Very easy !
