Ford 640 pto

:confused2:I have 1957 Ford 640. The pto works fine until I hit a small sapling. The pto then
kicks out. I opened the side cover and all berrings look and feel tight. The engagement arm looks fine. But Bushhog vibrates bad. can this make pto kick out. Thanks Steven

Thats odd...i intentionally mow off saplings with my hog all the time with no ill effects. I would suggest finding out the source of your vibration on the brush hog first. You could always try the tractor pto on another impliment if you have one.
