One popped up on c-list near me. I never heard of them. But upon a little googleing, it appears they were built to tow jets around and stuff. They had a torque converter and gas pedal.

I am not really interested in it, but the guy says its rare. But you know how that goes. Sometimes rare dont mean its worth more $$$.

He says its in excellent shape and runs well. $2800. Thats about what a good shape 601 series goes for. So I was just wondering, does its rarity make it worth less? More? About the same?

Is it a steal? Stay away? etc. Just looking for a little feedback. But like I said, I am not really interested unless the thing is worth like 5 or 6 grand. And if it is, it would probabally be sold before I could do anything.

many of the tugs had dual smaller rears, hyd brakes, no 3pt or pto, and the torqe converter.. etc.

they have a pretty decent collector market if it's in good condition and complete.

parts are understandably hard to find for them.
