I have a Ford 600 (640 model).

Other than converting it over to 12v negative ground, it seems to be pretty stock.

My question is about adding hydraulics. I'm not planning on adding a frontend loader but was simply wondering if the two accessible ports on the hydraulic pump, can be configured as input and output ports.

Just wondering if they can be used for anything except priming the pump itself.

I can't figure out how to attach pictures to this post.

If you want remote control hydraulics on your 640, you don't mess with the factory pump, but install an accessory manifold and control valve on the top cover by the seat:

Those are for bleeding the system or pressure testing, if you want or need additional hydraulics add the slave valve to the top of the hydraulic cover right under the front of your seat. You can get valves with one or two circuits depending on your needs.
