Backhoe Ford 5500 stuck in 3rd gear!!!

Iv got a 69 ford 5500 it is currently stuck in 3rd gear or 6th if in high. It shifted great the last time I ran it now I can't get it to move. I'm hesitant to pull the top of the trans up but I'm not sure what to expect. Any one have any advice on this? Also of anyone knows where I can get a trans filter for that thing that would be great too. New Holland no longer offers them.

If access to the shift cover is easy, then removing it and taking a look is not a scary proposition as this is the transmission gear shift section of the transmission. Not too different from any manual transmission from this perspective. Hopefully, the shift levers are worn out and not the bearings.
As far as the filter, aftermarket should still be available. Original PN I believe was a C5NN6714A, which was a basic engine oil filter from pre-65 Ford tractors, autos and trucks.

Ok thanks ill try that PN for the filter new holland had no suggestions on it what so ever. Yeah iv got to pull the floor up and take the top cover off and see if it will pop back into gear with a screw driver or something then I guess. Thanks for the reply.
