Hello - I have a Ford/New Holland 545d with shuttle shift trans. It has a dump pedal on the floor that is supposed to throw the shuttle into neutral so you can rev up the motor to speed up loader operation. Pressing the pedal does nothing. My understanding of the system is that the electrical switch under the dump pedal is normally closed and provides power to the circuit that controls the shuttle shifting. Depressing the pedal should activate the switch (open the circuit) and kill power to the shuttle solenoids allowing them to spring back to the neutral position. Anyway, my dump pedal didn't do anything, so I replaced the switch. Still does nothing. The switch appears to be magnetically activated. Anybody know of a way to test these switches? The shuttle shift works fine, so I am pretty sure that is not the problem. Thanks in advance!
