Has anyone ever seen gas get into the air filter housing? The only reason I noticed it was that I have been bush hogging some steep slopes and when I would go at about a 20 25 degree angle to the right the tractor would die. What it was doing is when the tractor was tilted to the right the gas would plug up the air intake and kill the tractor.
The tractor does not have a stock gas cap and there is allot of pressure that builds up in the tank. Do you think that could push gas into the air filter housing? I think it is supposed to have a vented gas cap and the one that is on it is not vented.
This is a gas tractor not diesel.
