need to add transmission oil to ford 4500 backhoe manual transmission wet brakes. what i am told is it needs m2c-134d oil i can't locate any will jd120c or j20c oil be the same? if not what would be the same as the m2c=134d oil

Just pickup some universal tractor fluid, all I have seen many years has been 134D compliant. Come to think about it think J20 may also be listed on the label, guess I need to look.

Some info I found on the net:

Ford M2C-134D (Multi-G) and John Deere J20C (Hygard) are basically equivalent specifications.

Travelers' brand UTF from TSC equivalent to 134D check the label on the bucket

You can use any UTF that says on the label that it meets the Ford 134D specification. Check the label
