Ford 445A - new member

Hi All,
I just picked it up yesterday. My first tractor.
Everything seems to work except parking brake. Is this something simple to fix or best left for when other major repairs are needed?

The parking brake is external. Either style issimple.
One style employs a T-handle on the right of transmission. When pulled up and twisted 90° AND the brake pedal is pushed down, the park brake is on. To release, turn T-handle back to original position, stomp on brake pedal and the park is released.
The alternate setup utilizes a hand brake on the LH Side of the seat. Pull up and you should hear a ratchet sound. To disengage, lift the handle slightly, push the button on the end and move back to original position. The hand brake handle usually falls apart, won't ratchet and needs to be replaced. Very simple procedure.

I have a loader model with a Gannon scraper box that I just finished restoring.
