I am trying to get the gauges working on my 420 diesel. The fuel gauge moves up to full with the key on and stays there, if i unplug the sending unit, it drops to empty. I pulled the sending unit and tested it. It was something like 11ohms full and 38 ohms when empty, with a pretty even sweep. Do these numbers sound right or should I replace the sender or look elsewhere? The wiring all checks out good. Fuel gauge is very pricey!
