Ford 4000 starting problem can you help??

hey people im having trouble starting my 4000, when i try to start it theres just a loud clicking noise coming from the starter motor....it does not turn over whatsoever and i tink the starter might be broken. It has been very cold here the last few days but its parked in the shed all the time, can anybody help me ??? Thanks

sounds like solenoid problem.

Check voltage when trying to crank. should maintain 10+ volts. If no voltmeter and you have lights turn lights on then try to crank if they go way dim, not enough juice in battery, if stay bright then solenoid is not feeding electricity to starter.
