I recently bought a 1968 Ford 4000. The left rear axle is leaking. Several questions. First, is the oil seal hard to replace? I have a manual and it looks like it could be easy. However, looks can be deceiving. The manual doesn't go into a lot of detail. Second, does the seal need to be pressed in? And my last question, my loader will work most of the time. With this leak from the rear axle cause the loader not to work? Too much fluid leaked out? I appreciate any insight.
