ford 4000 hydraulic problem

Hello Friends,

I have a 1970 Ford 4000 3 cyl diesel. It has new hyd fluid topped off to the proper level. The lift was working fine then it suddenly lifts only an inch or two and no more. I have checked for mechanical interference and it has the same problem even with the lift arms disconnected. I am waiting for a manual before digging in any further. If anyone has experienced this problem or can offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the draft lever is in the vertical position. It's possible that the draft pin is worn through.

Thanks for the idea. I tried that with no luck, I guess I will be tearing it apart when the manual arrives.
