I have a Ford 3930 with about 540 hours. I have been happy with it and have really used and enjoyed the FEL on it.
It all seems to work well, but it has a very noticeable whine from the rear end or transmission. There seems to be noise whether it is in high or low range. In fact if I am on a hill and just let the tractor coast down the hill the noise is very noticeable since there is less motor noise.
Is this normal? If not, what should I be looking into to try to prevent a bigger problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
