Ford 3910 Serial Number Location

I purchase a Ford 3910. The Auction House painted the machine. I am trying to locate the Serial Number and need some help. Please advise where to find the Stamping or Casting number. Thank You!!

3 sets of numbers ( & letters) hand stamped in the flat horizontal surface of the clutch housing just aft of the starter and below the fuel tank shutoff. Model designation, serial number and unit code. These and more also should be on a tag on the underside of the right (hinged) half of the hood.
