Hello there,
First post here but have been a fan of the site for a while. Finally got around to addressing some weak hydraulics that intermittently fail all together. Typically, they won’t lift at all until I’ve ran it 30+minutes.
Thought I’d start with a top/cover plate rebuild and swapping pressure relief valves just in case that was the problem. The pressure relief valve is my question is. Almost all online results for “Ford 340A Pressure Relief Valve” result in the top valve in the attached picture. So I bought one to swap while I had the fluids drained. The yellow capped valve is the one I pulled from the tractor. They are obviously different and the top one won’t screw in if I tried.
Any ideas on what the actual relief valve should be? From poking around online it almost looks like a Ford 5600 valve but still not exact. Could y’all help me out on sourcing the correct part?
