Hello very new to tractors and farming.
I'm looking for some advice on a ford 3000 tractor. I have 6 acres with a Lot of it that needs to be cleared. I will have 7000 sq feet or so of snow to clear and we get a lot of snow. We also have a large garden with plans of expanding it, I'd like to use. a mood board plow and or tiller in the garden.
The tractor is a 1966 B3000 gas with an 8speed transmission, live pto, power steering and one remote. It has a FEL that has it's own front mounted hydraulic pump. It comes with nothing else. It's paint is a little rusted and not too faded, apparently isn't always slept inside. The seat is just the bare metal frame. The loader is in good shape the bucket looks straight and the arms have been repaired on one side with a. Big patch and welds. The kicker is I havnt seen the tractor, I'm going from lots of pictures and the sale mans description, it is on consignment at a dealer 8 hours away.
They are asking $5000cdn ($4580 us) and salesman is confident I could get it for $4750cdn ($4350 us)
How is this for price? I'm concerned that it's expensive considering ti doesn't come with any accessories other than the loader. Will I be working on this old tractor more than using it?
