tractor has been sitting for awhile, started it up and lift quite working

Have you checked anything yet?? Does it have oil or did it all leak out?? Does it make any abnormal noises?? Do you have an implement attached? If so, have you tried un-hooking and see if that works?? Can you manually lift the arms?? or is something binding??
