Mowing Ford 3000 for mowing

I'm looking for a dedicated tractor for mowing. I have a 4610 w/FEL that I use now, but would like some better maneuvering than the loader gives me.
The NH dealer about 90 miles away has a 1970 3000 for 3k on their lot. I would like some input on whether a 3000 has the horses to run an 8 ft flail mower with out being over stressed, before I drive over there to have a look at it.

We used to run the 7 footers on 3000's very successfully. I'd think the 3000 has the horsepower to run an 8 footer about as well. Give them a call to verify.
