I am working on a ford 3000 replacing a 2 stage clutch. after bolting up the new clutch to the flywheel I noticed the adjustment screws (that contact TO bearing) were all at different heights so I started adjusting things. I got all three levers in spec (50-54 thou) using the allen head adjusters but when I moved to the adjustment screws at the end of the levers the spec called for 2.110 from the PTO hub to the top of the bolt and as far as I can tell thats not possible because the bolts aren't long enough to extend that far and even if they were they would contact the TO bearing prematurely. anyone run into this before?
