i am trying to source a starter solenoid for my ford 3000 .it has lugs out the side that fixing bolt screw into.do you guys know any firms that will ship to australia

Get on the www. I bought several things internationally for my Fords over the years and had no problems or questions asked about where to ship being a problem. One of the purchases was a 5" diameter starter for my 3000D. Don't ask where I got it as it's been 10 years ago roughly and I don't remember. I do remember it was very inexpensive and still working just fine. No core charge either for a brand new starter.

I’ve used SSB Tractor, Messicks, and a few shops on Ebay for parts for my 3000. As mentioned, parts are readily available, though I can’t vouch for which sites will ship to Australia. I assume most will. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding what you need.

In Au you should be able to buy an aftermarket unit no problem. I know that Bepco would have one and suspect that Sparex would also. These are large distributors that supply the local tractor engineers in AU. They should be able to provide some assistance. If not I know that All States Ag Parts has locations there and can import from the US. This might be cheaper than importing from the USA.
