ford 2000 shifter cable

I have a 1964 Ford 2000 tractor. When I was overhauling the motor I broke the 6" shifter cable that goes inside the transmission. I am not having any luck finding one at the local salvage yards or at my local ford/new holland dealer. Does anyone know where I can find one. Thanks
