Tractor
ford 2000
I was using a box blade when i hit a buried stump. I wasnt going fast but it still hit hard enough to stop the tractor. Anyway, from that point on the lift doesnt function right. It will lift all the way up and stay up with no problem, or it will go all the way down (more or less) with no problem, but it wont stay anywhere in between. Also, the control lever now feels like it's spring loaded in the up position. It'll stay in the down position if you put it there, but if you just bump it, itll spring back the the up position. Havent had any problems with the machine until now.

What have I done to my machine?!

It may have hit hard enough to flip the draft control lever, into position mode.

Well I flipped the lever back and forth but I can't get it to do anything else...nothing changes. Is there something I'm not doing? I'm not a tractor pro by any means.

Sounds like the lift cover is coming off.
