Oil & Fuel Ford 2000 fuel shut off valve replacement

Can anybody tell me how the fuel shut off valve comes out of a 1969 Ford 2000? I need to replace it and am not sure if I need to remove the tank or if it can just be unscrewed from the bottom. Thank you.

No need to remove the tank. However, I do remember something being in my way on my 3000. Whatever it was, I know I worked around it. I'm assuming your 2000 is very simlar to a 3000.

should be unscrew and screw in.. here's a pic of my 3000

might undo the shroud.. etc.. but that's not a huge deal if you have monkey fingers..
