Ford 1920, What's the best source for the dual clutch pack for repair?

My PTO clutch went out in my 1920. I have done searches for this repair and see varying degrees of success .
What is the best, read most reliable, clutch pack to repair my tractor? I have heard Messick's is good (pricey) others mentioned AI Products. Since the most expensive part of this is labor I want to do it right the first time. And yes, I am going to replace both clutches when I do this.

I'm not sure if the 1920 is the same as my 1310, but on the 1310 my clutch pedal was out of adjustment and it caused the PTO clutch to not work. On the 1310, the bottom half of the clutch pedal's travel is the PTO clutch and the top half is the drive clutch.

Yes the 1920 adjusts the same buy I've done it several times and it's not working. Got a mechanic looking at it Saturday hopefully I'll know more then.

Just dug out the manual for my tractor and it does not cover the 1920, but it does cover the older 1910. The clutch pedal on that one is the same way. Also, there is an adjustment bolt for the PTO clutch that is visible from the right side of the bellhousing under a rubber cover.

Just something to look into before going all to buying a new clutch and splitting the tractor.

Your PTO clutch does not disengage?
Probably because your transmission clutch disc is worn thin which throws off the internal adjustment on the pressure plate.
Sadly there is insufficient room on a 1920 to adjust these bolts through the hole in the side of the bell housing.

I did the clutch replacement on my 1920......TWICE!

I bought an E-Bay aftermarket clutch which was a BAD idea!

AI products are good, and all OEM Messick's parts are good.
Be certain to get the entire clutch assembly (2 clutches), plus a new pilot bearing, and clutch release bearing.

It is a 10+ hour job, for a shade tree mechanic with helper, if you should decide to tackle it yourself.
In my case....10+ hours the 1st time, and 8+ hours the second time.

Don't do as I did!
Buy good parts the first time!

The last time I check Messick's I think they are up to almost $1000 for their clutch kit, with about $200 returned for the core. When I looked at AI products they have a good price on the parts but the Transmission clutch, which is captive, is shown as a stand alone part, not with the carrier. Yesterday's Tractor has a kit also but don't know if it's any good and the last "kit" I bought from them came in 5 different shipments over almost 3 weeks and was very frustrating.

Others have had issues with Yesterday's Tractors.
I would be inclined to skip them.

My aftermarket clutch supplier of choice is HyCapacity. Sadly their 1920 double clutch is of stock.
