If your starting problems continue, you might try this. My 1920 kept developing 'start' problems related to the wiring harness. Seems that as the wiring ages on these ##20 series tractors, it has more difficulty passing full voltage to the starter. I got tired of troubleshooting and installed a push-button start switch on the dash 2 years ago that 'shunts' from the starter post to the starter solenoid spade connector. Starting reliability has been 100% since. However, I must exercise additional caution when starting because this 'shunt' bypasses all of the safety switches.
