- Ford 1920
I have a ford model 1920 . I had to split the tractor to work on the transmission, while I had it in half I decided to replace the 2 stage clutch and assembly in hopes it makes it until I am to old to care . I installed it and the manual says to torque the 6 bolts to 16-20 lbs. ft. I try to do as it says and the bolts bottom out on flywheel. It goes on how to adjust a existing clutch by using the 3 adjustment Bolts and getting a gap of .95mm which I did but when I try to torque the 6 bolts to what they call for the bottom out before they get to torque. Can someone help me ? I tried to add pictures but this is not iPhone friendly and I am not computer literate
