Hello, just found this site!
I have a ford 1910 4wd with a 770 ldr and need to plumb in remote hyds to operate a jd 1207 mower conditioner that I want to purchase.
What is the best way to operate this mowcon?
It is my understanding that the lift cylinder on the 1207 is a one way acting cylinder for lift only and free fall on the down side.

Thanks for the input!,
Brett.

That's a fair load for a 1910, but could work.

If your loader has quick disconnects, you can just plug on there (the bucket control perhaps would be best to uncouple?) with longer hoses, use the loader control stick to control the moco. You would only hook up the one side, when lowering the weight of the moco will override the bypass valve. Some tractors have provisions for a good bypass, others you just let it over-ride the bypass. This would be cheapest of course, but not so handy.

Adding a set of rear remotes is better, but requires a proper connection & spools. You can't just Tee into the hyd line, you need a control block; a power beyond port; or the factory add-on stacking spools.

I do have the quick attach loader with disconnects.
Which side of the bucket control valve would work best for this single acting cylinder on the jd 1207 moxcon?
...and what do I do with the unused port?
