Ford 1900: two items on the dash board

About to paint the dashboard and remov ing some parts. Figured most out but there are two which i dont know.
One is the metal one with the hole in it and the second is the small blue lamp above the temp gauge.
Do they belong there or ”afternarket”?

It's been 25 years since I had my 1900. I don't remember the blue light. The one with the hole is a glow plug indicator. When you turn on the glow plugs you should see a coil light in the hole to show they are working.

Well its just a hole now and it seems too cumbersom to take down the dashboard...
