Hi again,
Posted this in the "general" forum with no answers so I will try here also.
Can anyone tell me what the part does on top of the tank, in the middle. Its like a hings type thing....Has it something to do with the hood?
Like where the hood will rest on? Should there be rubber beneath?
I am asking since it has "rubbed" away my service intervall sticker which is located on the tank and it is (or will) also nagg a hole in my tank.

Its the wide angled metal plate in front of the dashboard, resting on the tank. There is another small sheet metal thing resting on it which you need to disregard. Its possible to tilt the metal plate but its "hinged" around the metal "bar" holding the tank.
