Here comes another tractor story.
My now 82 year old neighbor "Horace" jumped and only got a few bumps. The tractor did not do as well. That was 6 years ago. He just gave it to me on the condition that I keep up his drive way. :cool2: Free Tractor, right?
$2000 later... Steering wheel hood fenders seat rop radiator battery air can seal oil "hydraulic fluid 6.4 gal" filters etc. & much blood sweat and, well you know.
It lives again.
Now I got a wee problem with the hydraulic 3 point lift.
So what do I do?
I joined Tractorbynet of course.
I have been getting lots of tips on what I should do by reading the other threads.
I did that lift piston seal because of your tips.
Lift stops once the machine starts to working. It works fine at first then the lift drops down and will not come up.
It comes back up when it cools down and will stay up all night with a load on it.

Welcome to TBN and the forum. Honestly, the internal hydraulics of a 3-point are sort of black magic to me. However, I'm certain that knowledgable folks will soon respond with factual advice. Horace was lucky and its kind of a tough way to get a tractor.

Hey now Oosik,
I am having a ball. I'm retired and this a fun learning curve.
I got plenty of tools and time.
I will become one with the machine.
Who knew Shibaura?
