My uncle overhauled a 1715.
I am looking for some advice as to how much weight I should keep my disc harrow around?
I plan to use this tractor for food plots and bush hog work in the woods.

Any tips or tricks with the 1715 I should be aware of, outside of installing suitcase weights?

Thanks,
Troy

Dang! Nice work.:) He did more than "overhaul it," right? Looks like he restored it. It would be prettier with the original, horizontal muffler IMO. Oh, by the way, :welcome: to TBN.

He did restore it...
He's a great mechanic and now does this in his retirement.

It looks nice. How loud is it? That looks like just a straight pipe with no muffler. If you have to leave it outside and it rains put a cup over the exhaust. With 4wd it will pull just about anything. I'd use liquid in the wheels as opposed to suitcase weights.
