Alright thanks guys. One last question. Where does it say the year it was made? I know it was between 83-86 but I can't find it anywhere on the tractor or owners manual.

if there's an identification plate on the left side of the transmission case in the box UNIT there's a code. the first number is the year (a 3 means 83), the first letter is the month (A=January, M=December), the next 2 numbers are the day, the last letter is the shift.
