Ford 1710 Tranny Filter/oil change questions

I figured I should start this over in the Owning forum now rather than the buying forum.

JC, hope you get this, but here's a new one. I am reading the FO-44 for tranny filter and oil change on page 94. In the second column it specifies different models and where to find the filter. For the 1710 it refers to figure 257 for filter location; however, this is not where mine is located. Mine is located as shown in figure 256, which is supposed to be for the 1510 model.

What do you think about that?

Also, I am reading this trying to find the strainer you made reference to before. I have yet to locate it in the manual. Where would I find the strainer for the 1710?

My 1710 does not have the strainer that JC's 1700 has. Mine has a regular looking oil filter for the transmission on the left side of the tractor below the tractor seat by where your left foot sits.

I got a owners manual for the 1710 from S&B tractor supply for around $42 after shipping.
