Can anyone assist with advice on how to wire up the standard fit temperature gauge to my Ford 1710 ?
I suspect the thing has been incorrectly wired by a previous owner so I have removed to check it out.
The gauge has two threaded posts which attach to the securing bracket which holds the gauge in position.
There are only two other terminals. One with a threaded nut to which I suspect the wire from the sender unit is attached and the other a, a wire attached by a screw...... maybe Earth ???
Greatly appreciate any help.

I know this is an old thread, but I was hoping you could tell me what model temperature gauge you installed in your Ford 1710? Has anyone used the universal gauges with the capillary tube?

The gauge in my tractor is the original fitment by Ford. Sorry, but I can't help with info on the aftermarket capillary tube type
